Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a results‑oriented accounting professional to join our multinational conglomerate, Goddard Enterprises Limited. The Accountant will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial records, deliver timely management reports, and support budgeting and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including management accounts, variance analysis, cash‑flow analysis, and year‑end statements.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts, including intercompany balances, and process necessary adjustments.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, aligning budgets with strategic objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, audit working papers, and schedules, ensuring compliance with tax and VAT obligations.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and general ledger, recording additions, disposals, revaluations, and depreciation.
• Monitor internal control systems and ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
• Membership of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
