Retail & Distribution Supervisor

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Retail & Distribution Supervisor in Kingstown. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Sales, the supervisor oversees the performance, operations and development of retail and distribution channels, leads the Retail & Distribution Coordinator and retail staff, and covers third-party distributors, dealers, resellers and distribution partners. The location is as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Retail & Distribution Coordinator and retail staff, set performance objectives, oversee scheduling and attendance, and run performance reviews and training.
• Oversee company-owned and partner-operated retail stores, check compliance with operating procedures and merchandising guidelines, and run regular store visits.
• Manage distributor and reseller relationships, monitor channel KPIs, and coordinate SIM cards, handsets and recharge products across the network.
• Oversee inventory planning, allocation, replenishment and stock movement, work with Supply Chain on demand forecasts, and reconcile stock.
• Drive retail and distribution sales targets, gross additions, activations and revenue, and promote cross-selling and upselling of Mobile and Digicel+ products.
• Ensure customer service standards, handle escalated complaints, and run periodic compliance reviews.
• Prepare regular performance reports for the Head of Consumer Sales and support budget planning and sales forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years in retail sales, distribution, channel operations or a related commercial environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity preferred.
• Experience managing retail staff, distributors, dealers or reseller networks.
• Telecommunications or FMCG distribution experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management applications and sales reporting tools.
