Supervisor – Building Supplies

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Supervisor to lead our building supplies store, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving sales targets. You will work closely with the Profit Centre Manager to drive performance and maintain efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily store operations and coordinating the team to meet sales and profit targets.
• Maintain adequate stock levels while maximizing sales and gross profit.
• Handle customer invoices promptly and accurately.
• Receive and deliver stock, assisting customers with product selection and queries.
• Oversee team dynamics, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist with cash handling and balancing cashiers when needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business Studies or a related field (certificate in supervisory management is a plus).
• Minimum two years’ supervisory experience in building supplies or a similar retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication abilities.
• Leadership and customer‑oriented mindset.
